James is a third-year Ph.D. student interested in the intersections of infrastructure health monitoring, numerical modeling, and machine learning. He is minoring in Statistics and Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. He previously obtained his M.S. (2020) in the Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials program at UC Berkeley and his M.Eng. (2021) and B.Eng. (2019) in Civil Engineering at the Cooper Union. In his free time, James enjoys cooking, hiking, and basketball.
