Chien-Chih Wang is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. He obtained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan in 2018. In his Ph.D. project, he developed an embedded system called SmartStone for exploring particle contact behavior under the supervision of Prof. An-Bin Huang. He has also developed FBG-based sensors for 4 years at NCTU. He is keen to implement novel technologies, such as wireless sensor network (WSN), magnetic induction (MI) and fiber optic sensor (FOS), in geotechnical research and practice.
Experience:
- 4-years experience in MEMs (Microelectromechanical Systems) control.
- 4-years experience in FBG sensor design.
- 7-years experience in 3D prototyping.
- Other experience includes field installation, laboratory and in-situ tests.
