Berkeley Center for Smart Infrastructure Hosts Water Industry Workshop on Hazard Resilience

    On Friday, October 11, CSI in collaboration with EBMUD and Carollo hosted a workshop on building and testing hazard-resilient pipeline systems. Over 80 participants gathered to discuss innovative strategies for planning, designing, and recovering from various hazards associated with permanent ground deformations. This was a unique opportunity to explore advanced solutions aimed at strengthening the resilience of our critical infrastructure. With CSI’s innovative research and the combined expertise of utilities and industry partners, the workshop fostered collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and actionable insights.
